In the show, Peterson pays tribute to Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Bobby Darin, George M. Cohan, Sammy Davis Jr., Anthony Newley, and Donald O'Connor, singing and dancing numbers each man made famous.

Peterson was seen on Broadway in Cabaret and Off-Broadway in George M. Cohan Tonight!. He has performed Song Man Dance Man in New York and Connecticut, where it won two Connecticut Critic's Circle Awards, for Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Actor in a Musical.
