Shirley Jones and Patrick Cassidy to Headline 2010 Cabrillo Holiday Spectacular

Oscar winner Shirley Jones and her son, Broadway star Patrick Cassidy, will star in The Cabrillo Music Theatre’s 2010 Cabrillo Holiday Spectacular, to run December 21-24 at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks, California.

The show will be directed and choreographed by Cheryl Baxter. Dan Redfeld will be the evening’s musical director and lead the 15-piece Cabrillo Music Theatre Orchestra.

Jones and Cassidy have appeared together on stage in 42nd Street and The Music Man and performed in concert together earlier this year in London’s West End.

Jones won the Oscar for Elmer Gantry and starred in such film musicals as Oklahoma, Carousel, and The Music Man. She is well known for her work on TV’s The Partridge Family. Cassidy’s other stage credits include The Pirates of Penzance and Annie Get Your Gun.
