Bashor, Finley, Pearl, Sorge, et al. Set for La Mirada’s Happy Days

Casting has been announced for Happy Days: A New Musical, which will play the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, October 31-November 16, as the first stop on the show’s North American tour. The production is directed by Gordon Greenberg.

The show, based on the hit 1970s sitcom, has a book by Garry Marshall and a score by Paul Williams. It features music arrangement and supervision by John McDaniel and choreography by Michele Lynch.

The cast will feature Joey Sorge as Fonzie, Cynthia Ferrar as Mrs. Cunningham, John Massey as Mr. Cunningham, Steven Booth as Richie Cunningham, Chris Fore as Potsie, Felica Finley as Pinky, Barry Pearl as Arnold, Eddy Rioseco as Chachi, Whitney Bashor as Joanie, Molly Alverez as Lori Beth, along with Justin Duval, Gabrielle Hatchett, Matt Merchant, Jaclyn Miller, Jill Morrison, Leah Sprecher Jeff Summer, and Matt Walker.

The creative team includes Walt Spangler (sets), David C. Woolard (costumes), Jeff Croiter (lighting), and Julie Ferrin (sound). Greenberg’s directing credits include Working, Pirates!, and Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living In Paris.
