Noah Emmerich, Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell Set for FX's The Americans

FX has given a series order to The Americans, which will star Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys as a pair of former KGB spies posing as an American couple in Washington D.C in the 1980s, and Noah Emmerich as an FBI agent who moves in next door.

The series is created and produced by Joe Weisberg, who has written for cable dramas including Damges, and Falling Skies.

Russell appeared Off-Broadway in Neil LaBute's Fat Pig and is best known for her starring role on Felicity. Rhys recently starred in the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Look Back is Anger and is best known for his work on ABC's Brothers and Sisters. Emmerich's many stage credits include Fault Lines.
