Geffen Playhouse Announces 2009-2010 Saturday Scene Programming

The Geffen Playhouse has announced their new year of family programming, the 2009-2010 Saturday Scene season, geared toward introducing children ages two and older to the world of theater and music.

The season will feature Ooooogy Green and Other Fables on October 3 (ages 3+); Crayon Court on October 10 (ages 3+); Cymbeline the Puppet King on October 17 (ages 5+); Ferdinand the Bull on October 21 (ages 5+); Tom Sawyer on November 28 (ages 5+); Shushybye Dream Band on December 5 (ages 2+); Story Pirates on December 12 and May 22 (ages 4+); Jambo Watoto: Tales and Rhythms of Africa on February 13 (agers 5+); Storm Drain to Paradise on March 6 (ages 5+); Waters of the Earth: Multicultural Tales of the Sea on March 13 (ages 5+); A Midsummer Night’s Dream on April 24 (ages 5+); Artichoke: 26 Animals on May 1 (ages 3+); and Jambo on May 8 (ages 3+).
