Jennifer Jason Leigh Joins ABC’s Revenge

Jennifer Jason Leigh has joined the cast of ABC’s hit drama Revenge in the recurring role of the supposedly-dead mother of lead character Emily Thorne (played by Emily VanCamp), according to EW.com.
Leigh appeared on Broadway in The House of Blue Leaves, Proof, and Cabaret, and Off-Broadway in Abigail’s Party, for which she earned a Drama Desk Award nomination. Her many film credits include Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, Washington Square, and Margot at the Wedding, and she currently co-stars on Showtime’s Weeds.
Revenge begins its second season on September 21. The series also stars Madeline Stowe, Henry Czerny, Gabriel Mann, Nick Wechsler, and Joshua Bowman.
