Cheyenne Jackson Joins Mockingbird Lane Pilot

Broadway veteran Cheyenne Jackson will guest star on the pilot of NBC’s Mockingbird Lane, according to Deadline.com.

The proposed series, a reboot of The Munsters will star Broadway veteran Jerry O’Connell as Herman Munster, Portia de Rossi as Lily Munster, Mason Cook as Eddie,Beth Grant as neighbor Maryanne, and Eddie Izzard as Grandpa.

Jackson will play Scout Master Steve, a widower with no children of his own who becomes smitten with Lily.

Jackson’s many stage credits include Finian’s Rainbow, Xanadu. All Shook Up, Damn Yankees and Thoroughly Modern Millie. He is currently appearing in MCC Theatre’s benefit production of Neil LaBute’s Heart of the Matter. Jackson also has a recurring role on the NBC comedy 30 Rock.
