Stage veterans Nathan Lane and Robert Emms have joined the cast of Tarsem Singh’s new movie version of the Snow White fairy tale. Melisa Wallack has written the screenplay for the currently untitled project.

Lane will play Brighton, a servant to the Evil Queen, to be played, as previously reported, by Julia Roberts. Emms will play Renbock, a valet to the character Prince Alcott (to be played by Armie Hammer). Lily Collins will also star, in the title role.

Lane was most recently seen on Broadway in The Addams Family and won Tony Awards for his work in The Producers and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Emms appeared in the West End production of War Horse and has also been cast in Steven Spielberg’s film adaptation of the young adult novel.
