Lady Gaga, Jordin Sparks Set for May 11 & 12 Episodes of American Idol

FOX’s American Idol has announced its guests for the episodes airing May 11 and May 12, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

On the May 11 episode, Lady Gaga will mentor the four finalists, James Durbin, Scotty McCreery, Haley Reinhart and Lauren Alaina, who are set to perform numbers written by the songwriting team Leiber and Stoller. The duo’s work was was anthologized in the Broadway show Smoke Joe’s Café and Stoller is currently represented on Broadway with the musical The People in the Picture.

Broadway veteran and American Idol alum Jordin Sparks will perform on the May 12 episode, which will also feature the premiere of judge Steven Tyler’s new music video, “(It) Feels So Good.”
