The drama will revolve around a white supremacist family in the Pacific Northwest.

In addition to his screen work, Jackson was a member of the original Broadway company of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson.

LaBute's many plays include reasons to be pretty, Fat Pig, Some Girl(s), and Wrecks. For the screen, he's written adaptations of his plays bash and The Shape of Things as well as The Wicker Man, Nurse Betty, and Lakeview Terrace, which he directed and which starred Jackson.
