Tina Fey, Paul Rudd, Michael Sheen Set for Paul Weitz’s Admissions Film

Tina Fey, Paul Rudd, and Michael Sheen will star in Paul Weitz’s new film, Admissions, according to The Hollywood Reporter.


The movie will feature Fay as an unmarried college admissions counselor, who strikes up a romance with a man (Rudd) she knew when she was in school. Sheen will play her boyfriend.


Fey is best known for her Emmy Award-winning role as Liz Lemon on TV’s 30 Rock and her work on Saturday Night Live.


Rudd’s stage credits include The Shape of Things and Twelfth Night. His many film credits include Wanderlust, Our Idiot Brother, Dinner for Schmucks, Role Models, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin.


Sheen played David Frost in the Broadway and film versions of Frost/Nixon and his many other stage credits include Amadeus and Hamlet.His many film credits include Midnight in Paris, The Queen and The Twilight Saga: New Moon


Weitz’s newest play, Lonely I’m Not, is currently at Off-Broadway’s Second Stage Theatre. His other plays, all of which were produced by Second Stage, include Roulette, Privilege, Show People and Trust. His many credits as a film director include About a Boy, Little Fockers, and In Good Company.
