Ty Burrell will voice Mr. Peabody in DreamWorks Animation's Mr. Peabody and Sherman, according to a report in The Hollywood Reporter. Rob Minkoff will direct the project.

The film will focus on what happens when the two discover that someone has stolen the time traveling machine, changing moments in history.

He can currently be seen as Phil Dunphy on ABC's Modern Family, for which he received the Emmy Award. Among his many film credits are Leaves of Grass, The Incredible Hulk, and In Good Company.
