In addition to the full-scale productions, there will be cabarets, outreach programs, seminars and workshops with noted theatre professionals, programs for children, a parade, a theatre fair, and more.
The preview event this July will include the American premiere of a Moliere Award-winning event from France, Imagine-Toi, performed by Julien Cottereau, formerly of Cirque du Soleil. Also planned are two other international productions.
The festival's newly formed Artistic Advisory Council includes Susan Clark, Tony winner Joe Mantegna, and Julian Sands.
