The play concerns Arthur Przybyszewski, the proprietor of Superior Donuts, a sweets shop in Chicago that has been a community hub for decades, and Franco Wicks, a young fast-talking dreamer, whom he hires.

The creative team includes John Arnone (sets), Laura Bauer (costumes), Daniel Ionzzi (lighting), and Richard Woodbury (sound).

Cole's many theater credits include August: Osage County, American Buffalo, Flyovers and Balm in Gilead. His many film and television credits inlcude The Gift, A Simple Plan, The Brady Bunch Movie, Midnight Caller, and The Good Wife.

Gathegi's stage credits include Twelfth Night, A Maiden's Prayer, Othello, and A Raisin in the Sun. He is best known for his role as Laurent in the Twilight series of films.
