The regional competition will select three top Southern California finalists who will then compete in the fifth annual AWMC national finals, to be held on May 7 at the August Wilson Theatre on Broadway.

This marks the first time that Southern California students are participating in the program, the goal of which is to introduce high school students to August Wilson's works and help them find their own voices. Click here to read more about August Wilson.
