Larry Moss to Direct John Patrick Shanley’s Beggars in the House of Plenty

Larry Moss will direct the upcoming production of John Patrick Shanley’s Beggars in the House of Plenty, February 18-March 29, set to run at Theatre Theater.

The play is set in the Bronx in the 1950’s and late 60’s, and explores an Irish-American family’s struggle with their inner demons. The cast will feature Francesca Casale as Ma, Jack Conley as Pop, Denise Crosby as Sister Mary Kate, David Gail as Joey, Lena Georgas as Sheila, and Chris Payne Gilbert as Johnny.

The creative team will include Leigh Allen (lighting design), Stephen Gifford (set design), Bruno Louchouarn (original music/sound design), and Kimberly Willess (costume design). Moss’ previous directing credits include the Off-Broadway productions of The Syringa Tree, RFK, Runt of the Litter, and Beast on the Moon.
