Bay Street Theatre celebrated the opening night of Big Maybelle: Soul of the Blues on Saturday, August 11.

Tony Award winner Lillias White stars as legendary blues singer Maybelle Smith in the world premiere show, written and directed by Paul Levine.

Music superstar Barry Manilow and actress/singer Lorna Luft were in attendance at the final preview on August 10, while stage star Richard Kind was among the guests for the opening.
