Spring Awakening to Launch UK Tour in 2011

The Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening, by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, will embark on its first UK tour next year.

Produced by Sell a Door theatre company, the tour will be directed by Pip Minnithorpe and choreographed by Cressida Carre. Casting and creative team will be announced shortly.

The tour kicks off at the Northcott Theatre, Exeter (May 17-21), and will also visit Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh (May 22-24), Macroberts Centre, Stirling (May 26-28), Greenwich Theatre, London (June 7-12), Lowry, Salford (June 14-15) and Norwich Playhouse (June 17-18).
