Robin Williams to Bring Weapons of Self-Destruction to London

Robin Williams will perform his new solo show, Weapons of Self-Destruction, on November 13 and 14 at London’s Gielgud Theater, with both performances held in aid of the Prince’s Trust charity.

In addition to tearing into eight years of George Bush’s presidency and other political absurdities, the show touches on Williams’ own struggles with divorce, addiction and rehab, using the comedian’s trademark free associations and riffs.

Williams has appeared on the New York stage in Waiting for Godot, and the HBO broadcast of his solo show Robin Williams: Live on Broadway was nominated for five Emmy Awards. He received the Academy Award for Good Will Hunting, and his many other films include Mrs Doubtfire, Awakenings, Hook, The Fisher King, Patch Adams, Happy Feet, and Night at the Museum.
