Rietta Austin, Paul Ayres, Oliver Roll, et al. Set for U.K. Bright Lights, Big City

Stage Limited has announced complete casting for Paul Scott Goodman’s Bright Lights, Big City, which will have its U.K. premiere at Hoxton Hall, running November 4-25. Christopher Lane will direct and design the production, which will have choreography by Fabian Aloise and musical direction by Elizabeth Nantais.

Based on Jay McInerney’s novel of the same name, the musical focuses on a struggling young writer who finds himself spiraling out of control as he confronts his demons in the
club scene of 1984 New York City.

The company will feature Stuart Armfield (Alex Rittenhouse), Rietta Austin (Clara), Paul Ayres (Jamie), Mary Cormack (Mary O’Brien McCann), Matthew Crowe (Michael), Lori Haley Fox (Mother), Jodie Jacobs (Vicky), George Maguire (Tad), Oliver Roll (Chuck Bean), and Rachael Wooding (Amanda).
