Andrew Lloyd Webber is Hospitalized for Prostate Cancer

Andrew Lloyd Webber was admitted to a London hospital on Saturday, October 24 for treatment for prostate cancer. A statement from Lloyd Webber’s spokesman said: “The condition is in its very early stages. Andrew is now undergoing treatment and expects to be fully back at work before the end of the year.”

Lloyd Webber’s newest show Love Never Dies is scheduled to premiere at the Adelphi Theatre in Feburary, and will later move to Broadway. He will also be launching his new BBC TV series searching for cast members for The Wizard Of Oz next year. Both projects remain on schedule.
