A performance of the previously announced The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall 25th anniversary concert will be broadcast live to movie theaters in the U.S. on October 2 at 2pm (ET) / 11am (PT). Laurence Connor is directing the performances, which will feature musical staging and choreography by Gillian Lynne.

Additional, pre-recorded encore broadcasts will be offered on Wednesday, October 5; Thursday, October 6 and one final encore on Tuesday, October 11.

The company for the concerts will feature Ramin Karimloo in the title role, Sierra Boggess as Christine, Barry James as Monsieur Firmin, Gareth Snook as Monsieur André, Liz Robertson as Madame Giry and Wynne Evans as Piangi. Additional principal casting for the event, which will feature a cast and orchestra of over 200, will be announced in the near future.

The creative team for the celebration will include production designer Matt Kinley, who will use the inspiration of Maria Björnson's original design, lighting designers Patrick Woodroffe and Andrew Bridge, and sound designer Mick Potter.

Based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de L'Opéra by Gaston Leroux, the show features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart (with additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe), and book by Richard Stilgoe and Andrew Lloyd Webber. In addition to the production playing at Broadway's Majestic Theatre, the musical can be seen at the West End's Her Majesty's Theatre and in Las Vegas at Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
