Joey, the four-legged star of the hit play War Horse, joined author Michael Morpurgo on stage at the New London Theatre during a a Q&A session with children as part of London's Kids Week on Thursday, August 16.
Morpurgo, the former Children's Laureate, wrote the novel which inspired Nick Stafford and the Handspring Puppet Company's award-winning stage adaptation that is currently running in London's West End, on Broadway, and touring the United States. The production is directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris.
During Kids Week, now in its 15th year and run by the Society of London Theatre, a child aged 16 or younger can attend participating shows for free when accompanied by an adult paying full price.
