Stewart Copeland to Star in London’s Ben-Hur Live

Ben-Hur Live, a stage adaptation of Lew Wallace’s novel and the award-winning film, will begin an international tour in London in September, according to Variety. The production, which will feature over 400 actors, will be directed by Philip Wm. Micknley and feature a script by Shaun McKenna.

Stewart Copeland, the ex-drummer for the supergroup The Police, will not only compose a score for a 70-piece orchestra, but he will act as the narrator for the show’s London mounting. The creative team also includes designers Mark Fisher, Ray Winkler, and Ann Hould-Ward.
