Dominic West and Kate Fleetwood to Headline Donmar Warehouse’s Life Is a Dream

Dominic West and Kate Fleetwood will head the cast of the Donmar Warehouse’s forthcoming production of Pedro Calderon de la Barca’s Life Is a Dream, October 8-November 28, according to Whatsonstage.com. The play, which will be presented in a new version by Helen Edmundson, will be directed by Jonathan Munby.
The work examines the conflict between free will and fate by following the travails of Segismundo (West), the banished heir to the throne of Poland, who dreams of palaces, empires, freedom, and revenge.
The cast will also include Rupert Evans, David Horovitch, Lloyd Hutchinson, Sharon Small, Malcolm Storry, David Smith, and Dylan Turner.
