Aidan O’Neill to Star in JJ Gilmour, Pat Gribben, Martin Lynch, Marie Jones’ Dancing Shoes Musical

Casting has been announced for the musical Dancing Shoes: The George Best Story, to run July 28 – August 14 at Belfast’s Grand Opera House, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Peter Sheridan will direct the production.

With music and lyrics by JJ Gilmour and Pat Gribben, a former member of the pop group The Adventures, and a book by Martin Lynch and Marie Jones, the show trace the life story of soccer great George Best.

The company will feature Aidan O’Neill in the title role, along with Alana Kerr, Kerri Quinn, Maria Connolly, Paddy Jenkins, Conor Grimes, Matthew McElhinney, Marty Maguire and Packy Lee.
