Anna Francolini, Leila Mimmack, Con O’Neill, et al. Set for Royal Exchange’s A View From the Bridge

Manchester Royal Exchange has announced complete casting for Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge, to run May 18 – June 25. Sarah Frankcom will direct the production.


The play unfolds in 1950s Brooklyn where Eddie Carbone, a longshoreman finds his supremacy at home is threatened by the arrival of his wife’s young cousins from Sicily.

The company will feature Olivier Award-winner Con O’Neill as Carbone, as well as Indra Adler (Mrs. Lipari), Mohamad Aljarrah (Submarine/Ensemble), Alexander Andreou (Louis/Ensemble), Abas Eljanabi (Mr. Lipari/Ensemble), Anna Francolini (Beatrice), Qas Hamid (Submarine/Ensemble), Chris Jack (Mike/Ensemble), Nicholas Mai (Tony/2nd Immigration Official/Ensemble), Leila Mimmack (Catherine), Ronan Raftery (Rodolpho), Ian Redford (Alfieri), Guy Rhys (1st Immigration Official/Ensemble), and Nitzan Sharron (Marco).

The creative team will include production designer James Cotterill, lighting designer Johanna Town, and sound designer Pete Rice.
