Momentum Pictures has released a trailer for its forthcoming film version of Susan Hill's novel The Woman in Black. Directed by James Watkins, the film stars Daniel Radcliffe and is scheduled for an October 28, 2011 release in the U.K.

The story centers on a young lawyer (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote area of England to tend to a deceased client's papers and who soon starts to uncover the ghostly secrets of the small village to which he's traveled.

The film also features Tony Award winner Janet McTeer, along with stage veterans David Burke, Ciarán Hinds, and Mary Stockley.

Radcliffe is currently starring in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and previously appeared on Broadway in Equus. He is best known for starring in the Harry Potter series of films.
