Tanya Moodie will now play the role of Harriet Benton in the London production of A Thousand Stars Explode in the Sky at the Lyric Hammersmith, May 7-June 5. She replaces Jemma Redgrave, the daughter of the recently deceased Corin Redgrave, who according to press notes, "has withdrawn from the production due to personal circumstances."

The play is co-written by David Eldridge, Robert Holman and Simon Stephens, and directed by Sean Holmes. It tells the human drama of a mother and her sons on their family farm in the North East of England, who confront a liftetime's worth of closely guarded secrets as the universe itself begins to crumble.

The cast will also feature Kirsty Bushell, Nigel Cooke, Lisa Diveney, Harry McEntire, Ann Mitchell, Tom Mothersdale, Pearce Quigley, Andrew Sheridan, Rupert Simonian, and Alan Williams.

The production will be designed by Jon Bausor, with lighting by Adam Silverman and sound by Nick Manning.

Moodie's recent theatre credits include Catch at the Royal Court and The Overwhelming at the National. Television credits include the BBC's The Street and The Clinic.
