The Donmar Warehouse has announced additional plays and casting for its 2010 season.

Next up at the Donmar is Mark Haddon’s Polar Bears (April 1-May 22), to be directed by Jamie Lloyd. The show will feature Richard Coyle, Jodhi May, Celia Imrie, Paul Hilton, David Leon, Skye Bennett, and Alice Sykes.

That play will be followed by David Leveaux’s production of Simon Gray’s The Late Middle Classes starring Helen McCrory (May 27-July 17), and Jonathan Munby’s production of The Prince of Homburg, written by Heinrich von Kleist, starring Charlie Cox and Ian McDiarmid (July 22- September 4).

Finally, Sir Derek Jacobi will take on the title role in Shakespeare’s King Lear, to run December 3-February 5. The production will be directed by Michael Grandage and designed by Christopher Oram, with lighting by Neil Austin and sound by Adam Cork.

In addition, the company will take part in celebrating Stephen Sondheim’s 80th birthday this year.
