The Insurgo Theater Movement will present a return engagement of Cannibal the Musical!, to be presented at Stage Door Theatre, August 14-September 27. John Beane will direct, with musical direction and arrangements by Justin Pyne.

The show, written by South Park creator Trey Parker, was a hit last year during its run at the Onyx. It tells the true story of the only person convicted of cannibalism in America - Alferd Packer. The sole survivor of an ill-fated trip to the Colorado Territory, he tells his side of the harrowing tale to news reporter Polly Pry as he awaits his execution.
