Theatre Lab to Present 24 Hour Dramathon Fundraiser May 20

Theatre Lab will present a 24 Hour Dramathon on Friday, May 20 from 1pm to am as a fundraiser for its Send a Kid to Theatre Camp campaign.

Washington actors Sarah Marshall, Jennifer Mendenhall, Kim Schraf, Craig Wallace, MaryBeth Wise, Christopher Henley, Donna Migliaccio, and Deidra Starnes will perform in readings of new plays by Washington playwrights and directed by professional directors. Playwrights will have 24 hours to complete a ten-minute play and actors get one rehearsal with their director before the performance.

Since April 4, volunteers have been soliciting donations for the Send a Kid to Theatre Camp campaign. Those that bring in the largest totals will have the opportunity to perform alongside professional actors in this unique evening of original works.
