Michael Cerveris, Brian d’Arcy James, Maria Friedman, et al. Set for Sondheim at 80 Concerts

Liz Callaway, Michael Cerveris, Brian d’Arcy James, Maria Friedman, and Patricia Noonan will join the National Symphony Orchestra Pops’ Sondheim at 80, to be offered May 5-8 at Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Principal Pops Conductor Marvin Hamlisch will lead the performances.
The evenings will feature many of Sondheim’s best-loved tunes from some of his greatest shows, including Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Follies, among others.
