Yale Rep Announces 2010-2011 No Boundaries Season

Yale Rep and the World Performance Project at Yale have announced the No Boundaries: A Series of Global Performances 2010-2011 season, which aims to celebrate the diversity of voices and experiences in today’s world.

The season will begin with the American premiere of Spanish solo performer María Jerez’ The Case of the Spectator (September 23-25), a surreal thriller that deconstructs and reimagines iconic mid-twentieth-century crime fiction.

The Rude Mechs will present the company-created The Method Gun (February 23-26), directed by Shawn Sides. The piece aims to reveal the ecstasy and excesses of performance, the incompatibility of truth on stage and sanity in real life, and the indelible impact of mentors.

American video artist and choreographer Dean Moss and acclaimed South Korean sculptor Sungmyung Chun fuse theatre, dance, video, and sculpture in Nameless forest (March 31-April 2).
