Ian Barford, Christopher Lloyd, Marcus Neville, et al. Set for Weston Playhouse’s 2010 Season

The Weston Playhouse has announced its summer season.

The theater’s schedule includes a revival of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman (October 26 -September 11) , starring Obie and Emmy Award winner Christopher Lloyd as Willy Loman. Steve Stettler will direct the production, which will tour New England after its run at the Playhouse. The company will also feature Jeremy Bobb, Matt Harrington, Munson Hicks, Beth Hylton, Philip Kerr, Liz Morton, Markus Potter, John Leonard Thompson, Amy Van Nostrand and Brandy Zarle.

The Weston season will begin with The 39 Steps (June 29 – July 10), directed by Joe Grifasi and featuring Jason Collins, Liam Craig, Kathleen McElfresh and Matthew Schmidt. The theater’s second mainstage offering for the summer will be Avenue Q (July 15-31). Tim Fort will direct a company which will include David Benoit, Steven Booth, Lexy Fridell, Zonya Love Johnson, Sharon Wheatley, Randy Blair, and Christine Toy Johnson.

The fourth mainstage offering will be Malcolm Ewen’s staging of Damn Yankees (August 5-21), featuring Marcus Neville (Applegate), along with David Bonanno, Mathew deGuzman, Thursday Farrar, Patty Goble, Munson Hicks, Allen Kendall, Brian Massey, Dorothy Stanley, Theis Weckesser, and Brandy Zarle.

Rounding out the Weston season will be a production of Seussical (June 24 – July 11), performed by the theater’s Young Company; Ian Barford in a new one-man drama The Oath (July 8-25); and The Marvelous Wonderettes (August 12-29), with Suzanna Neeley Bridges, Amy Fitts, Piper Goodeve, and Jennifer Zappola.
