Taylor Mac will offer three performances of his show The Be(A)st of Taylor Mac at Yale’s University Theatre, January 28-30. The presentation is part of NO BOUNDARIES: A Series of Global Performances, offered by Yale Repertory Theatre and World Performance Project at Yale.

In the show, a gender-bending fusion of cabaret and politics, Mac sings about love, mermaids, subway safety, and revolution. A talk back with the artist will follow each performance.

The performer’s other works include Red Tide Blooming, Peace, The Young Ladies of… and, most recently, The Lily’s Revenge. He has performed at more than a hundred venues around the world, from Stockholm’s Sodre Teatern to New York’s Public Theater.

Mac will offer a workshop on January 27 in which audiences will be invited to engage with him in an interactive studio session.
