Profiles Theatre company has announced its 2011-2012 season.

The company will begin the year with Martin McDonagh’s A Behanding in Spokane, to run August 26 – October 16. Rick Snyder will direct this dark comedy about a mysterious man who has been hunting for his missing left hand for decades, which will feature Eric Burgher, Darrell W. Cox, and Michael Pogue.

The Profiles season will also include Deirdre O’Connor’s Assisted Living (November 4 – December 19), a look at how a younger man transforms a 40-year-old woman’s dreary world. Joe Jahrans will direct both this production and Neil LaBute’s portrait of a man’s burgeoning faith after witnessing the worst office shooting in American history, The Break of Noon (March 30 – May 20).

In addition, Profiles Theatre will produce Leslye Headland’s viciously comic look at three unhappy friends celebrating another’s wedding, Bachelorette (January 13 – March 4), to be directed by Cox.
