Works by Rodney Ackland, Will Eno, Andrew Hinderaker Set for Gift Theatre’s 2012 Season

Gift Theatre has announced the lineup of plays that will comprise its 2012 season.
The company’s first offering will be the U.S. premiere of Rodney Ackland’s Absolute Hell, to run March 1 – April 29. Sheldon Patinkin will direct the piece, set in post-World War II, that centers on the bohemian denizens of the members-only club “La Vie En Rose.”
Also on the Gift Theatre’s schedule are Will Eno’s comedic snapshots of everyday people in crisis, Oh the Humanity (June 14 – August 12), to be directed by Michael Patrick Thornton; and the world premiere of Andrew Hinderaker’s look at a man’s scheme to get rich and help others, Dirty (September 13 – November 18), to be directed by Jonathan Berry.
