The full cast and creative team have been announced for the Midwest premiere of Mitti Lerner's Pangs of the Messiah, to be presented by the Silk Road Theatre Project in Pierce Hall at The Historic Chicago Temple Building, March 19-May 10. Jennifer Green will direct.

Set in 2012 amidst the signing of a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians, Lerner's drama is about eight West Bank Jewish settlers pitted against an Israel they feel betrayed by. Led by Bernie Beck and Susan Adler, the cast will feature Larry Baldacci, Brent Barnes, Dana Black, James Elly, Stacie Green, and Mark Hines.

The design team will include Rebecca A. Barrett (lighting), Carol J. Blanchard (costumes), Kurt Sharp (set), Robert Steel (sound), and Mike Tutaj (Projections).
