Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony-nominated revival of On the Twentieth Century has extended its run by two weeks at the American Airlines Theatre. The production will now offer performances through July 19.

With music by Cy Coleman and book and lyrics by Adolph Green and Betty Comden, On the Twentieth Century is a madcap musical comedy set almost entirely on a train, the luxurious Twentieth Century, from Chicago to New York. Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth stars as movie star Lily Garland who finds herself face-to-face with Oscar Jaffee, a down (but not out) Broadway producer played by Tony nominee Gallagher.

The musical's cast also features Tony nominee Andy Karl (Rocky), Tony winner Mary Louise Wilson (Grey Gardens), Tony winner Michael McGrath (Nice Work If You Can Get It), and Mark Linn-Baker (You Can't Take It With You). Scott Ellis (The Elephant Man) directs.

The production received five Tony nominations earlier this week including Lead Actress in a Musical (Chenoweth), Featured Actor in a Musical (Karl), Scenic Design (David Rockwell), Costume Design (William Ivey Long), and Best Revival. It is also the recipient of four Drama Desk nominations including four Drama Desk nominations: Outstanding Revival, Actress in a Musical (Chenoweth), Featured Actor in a Musical (Karl), and Choreography (Warren Carlyle).
