First Look at Production Artwork for Hughie, Starring Forest Whitaker

The Oscar-winning actor makes his Broadway debut in the Eugene O’Neill drama.

Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and Tony winner Frank Wood are inching closer to their turn in the Broadway revival of Eugene O'Neill's two-character drama Hughie, beginning performances February 5, 2016, at the Booth Theatre in advance of a February 25 opening.

Michael Grandage directs the play, set in the lobby of a second-rate Manhattan hotel as small-time hustler Erie Smith (Whitaker) mourns the recent death of the old night clerk, Hughie, and regales the new clerk, Charlie Hughes, with tall tales from his glory days spent with his now-deceased pal.
