Broadway's Beautiful: The Carole King Musical celebrated its 1,500th performance last night, August 17, at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

With a book by Douglas McGrath and songs from the Gerry Goffin-Carole King-Barry Mann-Cynthia Weil catalogue, Beautiful officially opened on January 12, 2014. The show follows the life and career of singer-songwriter King and colleagues Goffin, Mann, and Weil, and features songs including "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," "One Fine Day," and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," among others.

The current Broadway cast of features Abby Mueller as Carole King, Evan Todd as Gerry Goffin, Jessica Keenan Wynn as Cynthia Weil, Ben Jacoby as Barry Mann, Paul Anthony Stewart as Don Kirshner, Tony Award nominee Liz Larsen as Genie Klein, an ensemble that includes Gisela Adisa, Kerissa Arrington, Adam Dietlein, Kevin Duda, Sidney DuPont, Rosharra Francis, Laurel Harris, Sara King, Rob Marnell, Paris Nix, Gabrielle Reid, Nicolas Ryan, Sara Sheperd, Kimber Srawl, Yasmeen Sulieman, Daniel Torres, Melvin Tunstall, and Alan Wiggins.
