PS Classics to Release New Broadway Cast Recording of La Cage Aux Folles

PS Classics will make a new Broadway cast recording of the Tony Award-winning revival of La Cage Aux Folles on August 5-6. Tommy Krasker will produce the album which will be released in late September. The disc is currently available for pre-sale at www.psclassics.com.

With music by Jerry Herman and a book by Harvey Fierstein, the musical features Tony award winner Douglas Hodge (Albin), Kelsey Grammer (Georges), Fred Applegate (M. Dindon/M. Renaud), Veanne Cox (Mme. Dindon/Mme. Renaud), Chris Hoch (Francis), Elena Shaddow (Anne), A.J. Shively (Jean-Michel), Christine Andreas (Jacqueline), Robin De Jesús (Jacob), Heather Lindell (Colette), Bill Nolte (Tabarro) and David Nathan Perlow (Etienne).

Also starring as the notorious Cagelles are Nick Adams (Angelique), Nicholas Cunningham (Hanna), Sean Patrick Doyle (Chantal), Yurel Echezarreta (Phaedra), Logan Keslar (Bitelle) and Terry Lavell (Mercedes). The production also features Christophe Caballero, Todd Lattimore, Dale Hensley, Caitlin Mundth and Cheryl Stern.

The production has been directed by Tony Award winner Terry Johnson and features choreography by Lynne Page. Musical supervision, orchestrations and dance arrangements are by Jason Carr and the musical director is Todd Ellison.
