Dancing With the Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff to Guest Star in Broadway's Burn the Floor

Dancing With the Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff will guest star during the first three weeks of the run of Burn the Floor, which will play a limited 12-week engagement at Broadway's Longacre Theatre, beginning July 25, with an opening set for August 2.

The show is created, directed and choreographed by Jason Gilkison, and blends Latin and Ballroom dance. It was first conceived as a special performance at Sir Elton John's 50th birthday celebration in 1997. Two years later, the show made its world premiere in the U.K., and it has since toured globally.

The cast for the Broadway engagement will include Henry Bayalikov, Sharna Burgess, Kevin Clifton, Sasha Farber, Jeremy Garner, Anya Garnis, Gordana Grandosek, Patrick Helm, Sarah Hives Melanie Hooper, Peta Murgatroyd, Giselle Peacock, Sarah Soriano, Damon & Rebecca Sugden, Damian Whitewood, Trent Widdon, and Robin Windsor.
