Based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, the musical has a book by Joe Masteroff and is set in 1920's Berlin where Cliff, a lost American writer, enters the Kit Kat Club and gets caught in a sea of painted lips and rouged cheeks. He meets Sally Bowles, a burlesque star, who ensnares him with her wiles. History is in the making as the Nazis rise to power.
Aimee Doherty and John Kuntz will star as Sally Bowles and The Emcee. The principal cast will also include Paul D. Farwell (Schultz), Paul Giragos (Ernst), Shannon Lee Jones (Kost), David Krinitt (Cliff), and Cheryl McMahon (Schneider). The ensemble will include Cheo Bourne, Jordan Kai Burnett, Casey Connolly, Michele A. DeLuca, Annie Kerins, Jason Modica, Danielle Morellino, Dan O'Connor, Maurice E. Parent, Joel Perez, Peter Nicholas Romagna, and Jeremy A. Towle.
The creative team will include Peter Colao (set), Franklin Meissner, Jr. (lighting), Frances Nelson McSherry (costumes), and Rick Lombardo (sound).
