Lea Delaria, Judy Gold to Appear at Boston’s Huntington Theatre

Lea DeLaria and Judy Gold will appear next month at Boston’s Huntington Theatre.

DeLaria will kick off the Huntington’s new winter cabaret series Upstairs at the Calderwood, December 11-13 at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts, with a program of Christmas songs. She is best known for her award-winning appearance in the Broadway revival of On the Town and recently released a new jazz CD The Live Smoke Sessions.

Judy Gold is Mommy Queerest, December 26-31, her new stand-up comedy act all about being a Jewish, lesbian, working mother of two. Gold received a 2006 Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Solo Performance for 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, which also won a GLAAD Award for Outstanding New York Theater.
