Stage and screen star Louis Gossett Jr. will talk about his new memoir, An Actor and a Gentleman, in a public discussion moderated by Phyllis Karas, who is Gossett's co-author on the book. The event will be held at Ford Hall Forum at Suffolk University, on Monday, November 8 at 6:30pm.

Gossett's Broadway credits include Chicago, The Zulu and the Zayda, and A Raisin in the Sun. He is perhaps best known for his film and television work, including his Emmy-winning turn in the miniseries Roots and his Oscar-winning performance in An Officer and a Gentleman. A book signing will follow the discussion.
