Susan Consoli, Jim True-Frost Set for Handel and Haydn Society’s A Musical Salon

Soprano Susan Consoli and actor Jim True-Frost will perform in the Handel and Haydn Society’s A Musical Salon, to be presented at NEC’s Jordan Hall, Friday, March 19 at 8pm and Sunday, March 21 at 3pm. Peter DuBois will direct.

This intimate program of music and poetry is presented in collaboration with the Huntington Theatre Company. The performance will also feature Rob Nairn (leader/bass), along with members of the Handel and Haydn Society Period Instrument Orchestra.

Consoli has numerous oratorio and opera credits both in the United States and abroad. True-Frost played Prez on HBO’s The Wire, and has appeared on Broadway in August: Osage County, Buried Child, The Grapes of Wrath, and The Rivals.
