The Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced additional casting for its 2009 season.

The mainstage season will kick off with John Tillinger's staging of A.R. Gurney's 1974 play Children (July 1-12), which arrives after its premiere at Connecticut's Westport Country Playhouse with a cast starring Mary Bacon, Katie Finneran, Judith Light, and James Waterston.

It will be followed by Daniel Goldstein's production of Sam Shepard's True West (July 15-26), featuring Nate Corddry and Paul Sparks as two estranged siblings who have an uneasy reunion, along with Stephen Kunken and Debra Jo Rupp.

Up next, Dylan Baker will direct George Kelly's little-known farce The Torch-Bearers (July 29-August 9). Katherine McGrath, who will replace the previously announced Marian Seldes, will join Kaite Finneran, James Waterston Andrea Martin, Becky Ann Baker, Yusef Bulof, John Doherty, Philip Goodwin, Edward Herrmann, Lizbeth MacKay, Jessica Hecht, and John Rubinstein.

That show will be followed by British director Maria Aitken's production of Simon Gray's Quartermaine's Terms (August 12-23), starring Jeremy Beck, Ann Dowd, Morgan Hallett, John Horton, Simon Jones, Stephen Kunken, and Jefferson Mays.

The Nikos Stage season will offer a trio of world premieres: Nicholas Martin will helm Jonathan Marc Sherman's Knickerbocker (July 8-19), starring Brooks Ashmanskas, Peter Dinklage, Bob Dishy, Rightor Doyle, Annie Parisse, Susan Pourfar, and Reg Rogers.

Justin Waldman will direct Noah Haidle's What is the Cause of Thunder? (July 22-August 2), starring Betty Gilpin and Wendie Malick.

The season will conclude with Melinda Lopez's Caroline in Jersey, directed by Amanda Charlton (August 5-16), starring Will LeBow, Matt McGrath, Lea Thompson, and Brenda Wehle.

Finally, Williamstown will host the one-man show Blanche and Beyond, starring Richard Thomas as Tennessee Williams on Sunday, August 2 at 7pm. The work is adapted and directed by Steve Lawson.
