Changes include the addition of two new annual awards, which are, Production: Theatre for Young Audiences and the Lifetime Achievement Award. In addition, the eligibility requirements for the Gene-Gabriel Moore Playwriting Award have been eased, allowing more writers to be eligible by eliminating the requirement that a work be completed in a full production with paid performers.
